Travelweb.com: New and Improved?
 

Re-vamped website is back up... looks like its now in bed (excuse the pun) with Hyatt, Hilton, Starwood, Intercontinental & Marriott.

My first search didn't show any benefit over the hotel chain's site... which is a shame. I always used Travelweb when I was based in Australia and the UK, and it always beat out the chain sites prices. Sadly, no more.

Click-it deals appear to be gone as well.

Oh well...

I guess they are trying to discourage price competition, because when they list the hotels for a city, there is no indication of which is cheapest. You have to click through each one individually.

Click it deals have been gone for around a year now, if not longer.

I know... was hoping they would be back though. Loved them when I was working in London. Thursdays, lunchtime, to see if I could get away to Europe last minute. They were excellent...
