How accurate are these? I see UA is putting a 744 back onto the afternoon LHR-SFO, which would be nice if it's true.....

Ask the airlines. It is them who submit this information, direct from their operations forward scheduling departments. I would believe them.

UTC=Coordinated Universal Time New terminology for GMT

UNITED WILL STAND

flamboyant1:

UTC (Universal Temps Coordonne [translation : Coordinated universal time]) is exactly the same as GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). It is the time used for many worldwide aviation activities. Aviation professionals get used to doing the translation from UTC to the various local times in their head.

Unfortunately when the French got control of some aviation committee a while ago they decided they could not stand the GMT reference to a London suburb, or even it being in English. So the name got changed, although the basis is identical. A classic piece of xenophobia.

Now I hope you know what time is all about! I hope you have plenty, because time is a factor that money can't buy.

These are purely wishlists for the purpose of slot blocking.

Seems to be out of date already, at least for NWA. NWA has announced that it is parking all but 2 of its 747-200s. It has also announced that LAX-NRT will be a 744, and SFO-NRT will be DC10. But the IATA winter schedules show both to be 742s...

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 4:47 am.
