My Farting on Planes Post is Gone! Does anyone know what Happened to it?
Maybe the moderators didn't like the "smell" of it. Hope it wasn't too offensive.

Your thread is still there if you follow the link, but is no longer listed among the topics.
I suspect the other threads which disappeared are in the same situation, but nobody bothered to save the relevant links for them.
A common denominator: all those threads had replies made after FT started behaving erratically, but before it went down completely.
I was once able to revive such a defunct thread by booting up a PC which still had the relevant page in its browser cache, working offline in order to avoid any refreshes. No dice here, though
Tip: give your thread a 'fresh' start in 6-12 months, you'll probably be just as successful
