SARS predictions?
What will happen with SARS? I suppose that nobody knows.
The way I see it is that the vast majority of people, even in Hong Kong, don't have it. If you get it, the chance of dying is 5%, possibly up to 10%. That's too high for comfort. I wonder if it will subside in a year? If anyone is more informed than me, please post. |

I am, so far, less concerned about the death rate (being somewhere between 3-5% of those know to be infected), but about how much 100% infected will be (how the virus will spread around). 3-5% per 1 Million infected would mean 30'000-50'000 death per 1 million infected. |
