Reliable consolidators for premium cabin travel to and within South America

Are there any? One where you can earn mileage on the flights? Lan Chile preferred. 1stAir.net so far has quoted me fares on selected routings HIGHER than that on both the LanChile webpage AND through local travel agencies. Thanks

There are two consolidaters that deal in S.A. travel=Solar Tours and Travel Professionals. Trvl pro ahs a web site : farepro.com. However, both of these only work with trvl agents. Some that deal direct with public are DER, Autoeurope, Eurovacations.com and Lowestfares.com. A good book about consolidaters in general is Fly For Less by Gary Schmidt, available from your local book store or amazon.com. GET IT. Especially the older edition-longer the company has been in biz the better it is for you. They(amazon have 96 and 98 paperback editions, used in great shape, for each less than $10. One great feature is their reliability-financial . Another is travel agents review of them. Remember, if they are selling you a ticket they want to be sure also. They also list consolidators by which region of world you are interested in. Good luck!
