I'd have to agree with their choice of Bondi at the top of the list. It's a great beach that happens to be tops-optional. (If you go for the toplessness, keep in mind that at least 90 percent of the women there will probably have their breasts covered.)

Funniest thing I ever saw there: the Sydney suburb of Bondi, besides having the famous beach, is home to much of the area's orthodox Jewish community. On Sunday, Dec. 1, there was a large outdoor (it was summer there) Hanukah celebration, with a ten-foot-high menorah, adjacent to the beach. Many participants wore the traditional dress derived from 19th-century eastern Europe. I'm all for both practices, but found seeing them just a few feet apart fascinating!

Mileage runs are now a thing of the past.

I think most of those beaches are hit hard by tourists. Take Cannes for instance. I've stayed at the Carlton many times, but never seen any fabulously beautiful models topless at the beach. Just tourists looking for said models. However just a few miles east of there at the beach in Criox de Cagnes, said models were frolicking away.
