What do the flashing colors mean?
 

In German airports, flight status boards have two parallel lights that flash green, yellow, blue, etc. next to each flight arrival/departure. What do each of the colors indicate?

If you go to a web site for the airport, you can see a version of the status board like this:

The last column indicates that flight status that seems to general coincide with the light color. For example: Green means check in or boarding and red means cancelled.
