Climate Information

Can anyone point me towards a website that provides weather information for specific destinations. I'm looking of info for Oz. I've tried the Weather Channel and I'm looking for other websites. Thanks.

I like checking the local paper.

I don't know if Iwantanupgrade is looking for short-term weather forecasts or for information about long-term trends. What if you know that you want to take a vacation trip to Oz, but don't know in what month it would be best to go? How can you find out about things like average temperature, rainfall, percentage of sunny days, etc.?

I have no idea how I managed to post this message twice, nor how to get rid of the duplicate. Sorry.

Thanks Jakeman thats exactly what I'm looking for. We are going in April and I've checked out the weather channel site but was told by a friend's husband(Aussie) that the temperture ranges they were showing were not accurate so I'm looking to verify them.

There are maps with various historical ranges from a few days up to a year for rainfall and temperature over at

http://www.bom.gov.au/

Tons of stuff to play around there

Here's a historical weather database for almost anywhere in the world that you might be going:
