AAA.com useful functionality
 
I just went to aaa.com and was pleased by some of the functionality they now have on-line, for example:

- Generate your own Trip-Tik online and print it.

- Search guidebook database for restuarant, attraction, lodging etc info

- Order guidebooks and paper maps on line for home delivery (with no shipping charge).

If you are an AAA member (and I believe CAA as well), it's a aaa.com is a benefit worth checking out.

I've been ordering my maps and guidebooks on line with CSAA for the last two years:

http://www.csaa.com/home/

Looks like if you type your zip code in on the AAA site it will redirect you to CSAA if you're in their zone.

Actually this has been around for a while I believe. One really nice thing is youn can have these sent to almost any address at no charge. They recently reduced the number of items one can order at one time from 8 to 5. It often saves lugging around one of those 4 lb tour books.
