Generall Priceline Question

Ok, I would like to book my hotel in Chicago through priceline.
Just all that talk about FREE rebids and so made me wonder.

I looked through that priceline site now pretty closely, and could not find an answer to that:

If I bet on a hotel, and justdont get what I want, maybe because I am not willing to go higher than I do, do I still have to pay a fee?
My plan is bidding on a 4* within a certain range,if I dont get it, get a 3*, but when I am like at 55 dollars,Idont want to lowerthe class and end up paying 55 dollars for a threestar that I could have gottenfor say 40.

Thanks

You only pay the $6 priceline fee if your bid is accepted. If it is not accepted, you don't pay anything.

Priceline might not accept your European credit card, may be Amexco.
When you go to 3 stars, you can lower also your price.
