Are the INS pass machines working ANYWHERE?
I just had my pass renewed before xmas at LAX - and went through MIA a week later - where the machines were closed - and I was told for good. Another post was talking about AA JFK machines not working.
Questions: Are any working - ?
If not - what's up - this was one form of security that was fantastic - hand prints- more data on travelers - and you still get checked when going through customs. I'm not seeing the logic in closing them?
