What exactly is "D" class?
Purchased a biz class fare directly from airline as they were having a 'promotional' fare on limited dates...Int'l airline from LA to So. Pacific and I have my seats assigned in lower deck going, upper deck returning.
How different than 'C or J', and could I get knocked into economy for any reason? [This message has been edited by Axi (edited 06-30-2001).] |
D is confirmed restricted business class. I don't think you're at risk of being bumped.

I have a D class ticket on NW to Bkk in Dec. I upgraded it to Business Class with miles. The Desk agent said D class is Business Class, when I asked what it was.

It depends on airline.
D for NW is a business class inventory for both upgrade from economy and award travel. oneworld carriers use D for their Explorer RTW business class fare on international routes. CX has even a lower business class inventory category, I. |
Axi - let us know which airline if you want a definitive reply, as usage varies. Both One W and the Mon* Alliance are standardizing their booking codes amonthst members. Koala
