FT - Way Back When...
 

Hi, all. I was just using the search facility to pull up FT posts from back at the beginning, and I just got to wondering (amid sniffling and snuffling at all the super posters that are no longer with us) when exactly, did FT come on line?

I've been reading posts from 05-1998, but I wonder just when this board went on line? I know in the intro/logo it says "summer of 1998" but I just wonder, when did this magnificent thing start?

Anyone care to give us a synopsis (or whatever) on the "very early years?"
