Sight Unseen
I've noticed that internet travel agencies are offering airline tickets based on relatively wide parameters that you set. The agency will offer you a ticket that lives within those parameters, but they will not tell you anything more -- like the airline or the schedule. I've noticed that the fares are often quite attractive, but I've never had the nerve to buy sight unseen. Has anyone had any experience with these offers?

got tickets on priceline for $180 versus $440 quoted by a/l. worked good.could have been worse, but acceptable. thinking about doing it again this summer. these flights that i am talking about have only one a/l serving it. you look at the schedule and decide whether you can live with it & then put in a bid. don't be greedy & you will probably get the trip.
