Tumi discounts?
 

Is there anyplace that Tumi luggage is discounted? The only thing I've come up with is that some department stores will sometimes offer storewide discounts/coupons that are good on Tumi.

They have a number of outlets. I visited one in Manchester, VT.

I also like when Bloomingdales has a 15% off everything and they forget to exclude Tumi.

In April and July the Tumi office in Vidalia, GA has incredible sales of discontinued styles.

Their website lists the factory outlet stores, seconds and discontinued stuff. Be aware, the seconds do not have the lifetime warantee the first run product does, but you can save a ton of money. The Woodbury outlets in New York have a Tumi store too.

If you have a local "hometown" luggage store where you are a known customer...you should get a discount of up to 20%.

Many towns in our area discount when pressed but I guess Tumi forbids this.

You should be able to get 25% plus (they negotiate) and save the sales tax if you ship out of state.

I've had good luck buying a few Tumi items on ebay. I'd recommend checking it out occasionally (ymmv, of course).

My best Tumi find was at a pawn shop in Chicago last summer- bought a new w/ tags leather three-zip expandable carry on (new style- two tone interior and tracer plates) for a dirt-cheap price!
