Swings in Coach

Maybe swings in coach would be best. They can accomodate much larger people, the snack could be held, turbalance would impact people generally similarily. Innovations could include adjustible chain length to accommodate leg length, padded seat harnesses for safety, and under the seat hooks to hang carry on baggage.

On longer flights we could have hammocks, so everyone gets a "sleeper" seat.

Time to "think out of the box"

Yeah, but what about passengers traveling with infants? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Safety seat on chains?

Think vertically!

The last 10-20 rows could be converted into a capsule hotel of the sort found in Japanese train stations. More passengers could be squeezed into a small space, but everyone there will get 180 degree lie-flat beds (take that, British Air!).

Infants go in the overhead bin.

. . . perpendicular to the airplane, like wheelie rollaways, so that everyone can put their infants in the overhead bins.
