The interface to their flight schedule and pricing tool is somewhat different from the mainstream tools in Travelocity and Expedia. You can't book tickets yet, but I am beginning to use this site a lot as a starting point.

This site was first mentioned on FlyerTalk in 1999 (and over two dozen times since).

I think it is by far, the best site for schedules and prices. It is extremely quick, and on that count alone it is better than Quixo or Farechase. It might not pick up a special internet price or a "jobber" discount from Lowestfare, etc., but it is the best IMHO. Additionally, it segregates by carrier (good for those who want to maximize their FF accounts)and whether the flight is N/S or not. Moreover, the time breakdowns from which to choose your flights are far superior to that of Travelocity or Expedia.

I just can't wait till it is expanded to Int'l flights!!!

I have been using the ITASoftware engine for a few weeks now as a starting point for finding good fares. So far, I love it. especially the breakdown by airline, and the ability to choose alternate airports, I do not mind going elsewhere to buy, once I have got the right price/date/airline from ITA. I am happy to say I found this site using Flyertalk....Way to Go!!!

I've been using it for a very long time, and the thing that really impresses me about them is if you have a suggestion they are very willing to discuss it, and you may see it added down the road. They seemed really intrested in making it better, not just the "Must be a problem at your end" response so many of the dead dot coms use to give.

I agree on Ita. I have been using Sidestep and Qixo. If you run Qixo, Sidestep immediately does the same search.

I just did a few searches and all the airfares were higer than those offered on www.qixo.com or the airline websites.
