AA/QF to Australia
Later this month I'm holding reservations in Y on AA for LHR-LAX-SYD-LAX-JFK-LHR. The LAX-SYD-LAX is AA/QF codeshare on AA paper. I'm well over 6 feet tall and PLT. AA are saying all the exit row seats on the super-long sectors (LHR-LAX and the 2 AA/QF flights) have been pre-assigned already. Not just blocked, but pre-assigned. I really don't like the idea of 25 flying hours in a 32" pitch seat but if the seats are taken, they're taken... Does anyone with experience of a similar situation have any clues as to how I can try to improve things? Thanks! (Also copied to AA forum, hope that's OK).

Simple. Upgrade to a Bus/First seat! A killer trip.
And it is longer than 25 hours, I have news for you. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif ------------------ ~ Glen ~ [This message has been edited by ozstamps (edited 02-10-2001).] |
I can upgrade LHR-LAX with AA miles. But how do I upgrade on a QF flight even if it's an AA codeshare. More than 25 flying hours?
