Changes in the Fire Watch

It's a long story, which I won't go into here. But, due to some confusion about whther the fire watch over Eglin AFB (that I posted last summer) is a military or a civilian endeavor, has resulted in a realignment of it, from the Eglin AFB Aero Club to the civilian-regulated Jackson Guard range control. Result is, it is now regulated according to specific rules and regs that basically preclude non-official "observers" from going up.

Sorry that no one had an opportunity to get a bird's-eye view of the test ranges of the largest Air Force base in the world while I could still get y'all up in the air over here, but if and when things change, I'll post an update.

Maybe next year, Catman!
