Whose hubs where? How do I find out?
Can anyone tell me how I can determine which airlines have hubs in which cities? Ordered by city would be preferable, but any "list" would do.
Thanks in advance. |
Here's one that's pretty out of date:

Dudster: You're right, that one's pretty out of date.
I think we could compile a US hub list on our own here amonst us Flyertalkers... ATL: DL BWI: WN BOS: AA (secondary hub); US (secondary hub) CLT: US ORD: AA, UA CVG: DL CLE: CO CMH: HP DFW: AA, DL (secondary) DEN: UA DTW: NW IAH: CO MCI: YX LAS: HP, National LAX: (secondary for many: AA, UA, DL) MEM: NW MIA: AA MKE: YX MSP: NW BNA: WN JFK: (secondary for many: TW, DL, AA, etc) EWR: CO OMA: YX MCO: DL PHL: US PHX: HP PIT: US PDX: DL RDU: Midway STL: TW SLC: DL SFO: UA SJC: AA (reemerging) SJU: AA SEA: AS, UA IAD: UA presumably I've missed a few and am off on a few...but it's a start. |
That's a pretty complete list. Here a just a couple of others I can think of.
DEN - Frontier ATL - AirTran MDW - ATA MSP - Sun Country LAS, PHX, HOU, MCI, and MDW - WN (I'm not really sure you'd call these hubs, but there are lots of connections at these airports) |
A few more:
BWI: US secondary hub DCA: US secondary hub MCI: Vanguard (jet flights) MCI: also US commuter hub LAX: TW commuter connections |
What about focus cities? I know of two:
LAX: TWA Focus City PIT: AirTran Focus City |
