Small-Business Programs
I was asked to create a list of the small-business programs that the airlines have (not special corporate agreements, but small biz programs). Some are based on a certain number of points based money spent, and some are strictly based on quarterly revenue.
Here's what I found AA Business ExtrAA (can't link) US Corporate Dividends CO Reward One Does United or Delta have such a program? (BTW, I know some non-us carriers like BA and AF have such programs, but right now I'm only interested in domestic). Does anyone here use these programs? Experiences? I think we just got yet more evidence that AA can't design a proper website...

United has a program called PerksPlus which gives small businesses some upgrades and other benefits by aggregating the flying that their employees do, if the employees add the PerksPlus number to their Mileage Plus profile. I haven't found any info about Perks Plus on UA's website, though.
Our firm (about 500 employees) is a PerksPlus member, and now and then our travel coordinator asks if anyone can use an upgrade certificate -- sometimes even good for an international flight! |
Not 100% related, but in the general vein... My friend owns a small business and uses the Citibank AAdvantage Business card. She has given a few of her employees company cards to use but all the miles earned go into her AAdvantage account. She only has 5 employees so maybe this wouldn't work for larger companies. But she loves her miles and uses most of them for business travel (she's the only one who travels on company business) She can also use them as incentives for her employees if she so chooses (or keep them all for herself)
