The nose pad on my eyeglass frames snapped off on Saturday nite on the way to Frankfurt for the return flight. Wondered what could I do over the weekend in Germany. But Sunday I stopped into the airport and found an OPTIC store in Terminal 1 open. Being interested in getting another Zeiss frame, stopped in to take a look around. Showed them the broken nose pad riding raw on my nose. NO problem, the salesman said. They could fix it. Well 15 minutes later with German efficiency, I had TWO nose pads and stems replaced and felt LIKE new!
Cost 6 DM!! Isn't that about $2.70 US? It cost me $15.00 for one pad at home and it broke within 90 days.
