FA's in unsafe hotels?

"Those violations, they say, include... failure to assign hotels or assignment to drug-infested, unsafe hotels, forcing flight attendants to sleep on aircraft or in crew lounges on layovers and other problems."

Really? (If so, I hope that they at least get to sleep in the F sleeper suites http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif)

I posted this here in General Travel Talk instead of the United forum b/c if this happens at United, then does this also happen at the other airlines?

There is a thread going on about the worst hotel at which you have stayed, but what about the horror stories that FA's or other airline personel have had to stay at as part of their official accomodations?
