The Oakland Marriott is great. Jesse is wonderful in the Concierge lounge, and the property is directly on top of the BART station, if you need to get into the city. Incidentally, the current corporate rate of $154 is going up to $169 in a couple of weeks.

I would suggest the Fairmont San Jose. If you become a President club memeber you get better rates and guaranteed rooms, even if they are sold out.
