PriorityPass worth it?
I'm considering joining the PriorityPass program (http://www.prioritypass.com). The basic deal is that for US$299/year, you get access to a bunch of airport clubs, including some DL, NW, CO, AA, UA, and US rooms (plus a ton of international airports.)
For me the main attraction is that I frequently am stuck flying the airlines my customers have agreements with, not necessarily the ones I fly when I book my own travel. PP seems to give me a lot more flexibility than, say, the DL CR program. I'd like to hear from those who have joined PP to see what y'all think, or if there are other equally flexible alternatives. |
Yes, it's worth it. This has been discussed in another thread quite recently and that included a list of PP lounges in the USA. The only caveat is that your post implies you do most of your flying on Delta. DL excluded most of the Crown Rooms at its major hubs from the PP scheme e.g. there is nothing at CVG or SLC, only councourse E at ATL, etc.

In the latest InsideFlyer magazine, Brancatelli just did a whole editorial on Priority Pass.

It is particularly worth it if you fly a lot to many European Airports. Cites such as Zurich are not major destinations for most airlines and thus have no Clubs there. I was in Zurich and found 3 clubs that would allow access with a Priority Pass. I could not find one that would let me in with my President's Club card.
