Woaw!

I did 18 segments in 9 days last year, but we were talking LA-TX-CO, not all over the world.

I kind of figured that when I saw Mildenhall in the itinerary. Good thing it isn't the KC-10 tanker.

Actually, I think he did mean the tanker ... the KC-10 is a combination tanker/cargo aircraft and can do both simultaneously.

The mileage counters have got to start figuring. Indogulf's itinerary looks like the real challenger here! (but I guess you could say it will be an uplifting experience)

Well, now!

Indogulf - I pay homage to you. I may have to open the log and find a bigger itinerary. It is sad that some of my longest flights generate no miles!

Flying the KC-10 is a hoot! I am a boom operator; I am the one who conducts the aerial refueling and makes the connection in the back.

I have some itineraries from the Gulf years that most would not top in terms of miles.

Did an around the world in 8 days. Was to be 5, but we broke in the Philipines. Darn!

Did 8 Atlantic crossings in 14 days. Rountrips!

Enough reminiscing. Thanks for all of the replies.

My apologies for not finding the correct thread. I am always learning.

I woke up this morning being so grateful that I didn't have to fly anywhere at all this week. I started thinking back and couldn't remember the last week when I didn't go anywhere. I was so very happy for the rest.

Then my office called me to remind me that I had to fly out tomorrow for a seminar early Wednesday morning and then Joe reminded me about New Orleans.

Oh well. It was a nice little dream.

FlyAAway- believe me sometimes i wish i could fly military instead of commercial

there are lots of people on this board who probably fly either more miles or segments than me so i cant claim any victories here!

but i get my share of miles and have fun doing it so no complaints here.

happy flying
