Well, considering you only have 2 choice - Continental or America West, I think the choice is very simple.

Doesn't Kiwi have frequent service EWR-LAS?

Availability is often a little tight, though.

FOr my money, U-A. It's not direct service but It is teh greatest airline in the world in my Puurfect opinion.

America West goes out of all three NYC airports. National's flights are out of JFK.

Catman: Don't you think connecting in some big ugly airport that houses a huge airline (which is much inferior to one which can take you nonstop) kind of ruins long-haul first class service?

But, I think my opinion is biased, just as yours.

Emmett - I'll be flying first class EWR to LAS tomorrow morning. You can be my guest at the President's lounge tomorrow 6:30am. I'll be using the little one near the entrance of leftmost wing of Terminal C.

Just look for the guy with the NJDavid Flyertalk luggage tag. Maybe Nancy and Roberto can join us to?

How about taking DL's Biz Elite equipped flight JFK --> PHX and then connecting there? Persuming the connection works - I haven't looked into it! I'm fairly sure they fly PHX --> LAS, but not sure of the times of day.
