Located at the rear of the jet's living quarters, Julio's dressing
room includes a solid granite sink with brass fixtures. The closet
in the back of the room holds Julio's concert wardrobe, as well as
comfy clothes for long flights across the globe. A personal
wardrobe consultant accompanies Julio on a typical concert flight.

Two beds pull out in a "private" room that can be sectioned off for
seclusion. The room includes a TV, a VCR, and a full stereo
system, allowing Julio to relax in comfort when flying to the 90 or
so concerts he performs each year. Also in the main cabin are six
luxurious full-reclining captain's chairs, which turn into sleeping
quarters for Julio's traveling assistants.

The main cabin of Julio's jet is equipped with two
satellite-connected phones, a TV and stereo system, and a DVD
player. (In-flight movies include Indiana Jones and the Temple of
Doom, Scream, Lethal Weapon 4, and Scent of a Woman.)
Clocks in the room are synchronized to Los Angeles, Miami, and
Madrid local times. The galley has a microwave, heating and
refrigeration chambers, plus fine china and crystal for in-flight
meals or Julio's favorite snacks: potato chips, peanut butter,
cranberry juice, and red licorice.

Julio's jet is flown by two veteran pilots who accompany the
singer around the world. In the nine years since acquiring his
"home away from home," Julio's pilots have had to make two
emergency landings, both due to cracks in the windshield. No one
was hurt in either incident.

When at home in Miami, Julio's jet is docked with other Gulfstream
jets, owned by the founder of Kodiak Beer. Julio's jet, more than
88 feet long and 24 feet wide, has a dedicated service crew,
including Julio's own personal mechanic, to keep the jet ready for
action at a moment's notice.

Yes, as much as FT'ers rave about Singapore Airlines, BA's sleeper seats in First, and the quietness of "upstairs" on a 747-400, NOTHING compares to a Gulfstream... doesn't arturo have one???

"A personal wardrobe consultant accompanies Julio on a typical concert flight."

I wonder - does this mean if this person quits, Julio will go around naked because he doesn't know what to wear? http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I had a Personal Wardrobe Consultant once, when I was young - my Mother!
