Motel Recommendations for Miami?
 

I'm looking for an inexpensive (a nice way of saying cheap!) place to stay post-Xmas (last Dec.-early Jan.) in Miami. Prefer something with a fridge, maybe a weekly rate. Any ideas welcomed!

I don't know much about MIAMI but my advice is BOOK NOW!!! It's the Holiday weekend and the week before the new century (IT"S NOT THE MILLENIUM FIRST) and a popular destination. So ROOMS MAY GO FAST IF THEY HAVEN"T ALREADY!

I would look into: La Quinta, Doubletree, Hampton Inns. Even some of the Days INNS but beware... they are hit or miss.

Ditto Catman - or a Courtyard or Fairfield Inn or perhaps any CHoice property (Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn etc.) Hurry and Miami is not a cheap town!
