This year will see the launch of several new low-fare airlines.
Will they ever get off the ground? NBC "Today" show Travel Editor
Peter Greenberg reports.

I've got enough difficulty wrestling with the "established" carriers. I'm not too excited about the prospect of flying a new one. In fact I never have! I hear I missed quite a scene when they were running Peoples Express!

Doc... someone should write a book on People's Express. Now that was a wild ride!!

I'll spare you my People's story but there are plenty out there.

maybe we should create a thread on them.

FYI: I'm not THAT OLD!!! But when you're in high school and college money's tight so you take the discount airfare!

OMNI: Before I forget, if you are new to the F-T board and have not shared your bio with us, go to the "Who We All Are 2" thread. Welcome all the newest members of our F-T family (You are already members even if the computer says you are a junior member. SORRY! I hate that designation.)

We are all EQUAL. Have a MEOWY DAY!
