Major airlines vs. discount airlines
The local newspaper today reprinted an article on the topic of airline competition that had earlier appeared in the WSJ. According to the article, the major airlines are running scared. It speculates that there could be several major airlines that go out of business, joining Pan Am, Eastern, Braniff and Midwest.
