Inter-Con Opens in Houston
 

Opened for business on April 2: the 485-room Inter-Continental Houston. The former Crowne Plaza, a block from the Galleria, was gutted by Six Continents Hotels and totally rebuilt, adding 50,000 square feet of meeting space. Among the high-tech meeting perks offered by the property is the 9,000-square-foot Discovery Center, which can accommodate 600 computers online simultaneously.
