There are several websites with Airtran jokes. However, we should give them a chance. I think they did not change only the name, they also changed the management.

There was a small airline called AirTran befroe the ValuJet Everglades crash. After the crash, ValuJet mgt. decided on a 'merger'
with AirTran, but what they really wanted was the AT name. The combined airline was probably 80% VJ + 20% AT. I avoided AT for a while until I needed a cheap OW MDW-PIT in Feb. 2002. I was very pleased with the service. Congrats to Joe Leonard & Co. |

I'm glad it's working out for you. I hope it continues to do so. As for me, we got burned real bad. We won't be going near the fire ever again! Hopefully, we all learn from our lessons. We learned our lesson the hard way. Hopefully, Airtran won't take off 3 hours early and leave you in the airport.
