If you want to stay in the downtown historical area the De Mendoza has super location.
if you want to stay near the Convention Center, there is a new Hilton across the street.

I've stayed at the Hilton on three occasions, the one next to the "EXPO" or convention center. It is a newer property and have found the staff attentive. The rooms are a nice size and they do offer the complimentary breakfast coupons to Gold and Diamond members.
