Do exit row seats usually have outlets?

I'm going from BKK to ATL and need outlets to do stuff on my laptop. Exit row seats don't have trays. Do they also miss AC outlets? If so, the extra space isn't worth it to me.

What airline & aircraft? Will vary by airline & aircraft.

It depends on the airlines, but most Asian ones do have outlets. They're usually located at the base of the armrests. You may have to share, as it is usually a 2 outlets / 3 seats.

That said, The exit seats might not necessarily be "worth it" for you. For example, to me, the thicker than normal armrests are a bad thing for me. While I can fit into the seat, the inability to stretch sideways a bit is not good. Also since you're in the exit row, it'll often be colder than further in the cabin. Just having a plug at the seat might not be enough for you.

You might try posting to the airline-specific forum that you're flying BKK-ATL to ask the question as well.

Then you should not fly exit row then.

In general, if the amenity is offered, exit rows have that. For example, the tray table of exit rows is stored between seats, as well as PTV, and power outlet as well.

The problem is exit row space is limited. So it is difficult to reach when you sit down. There is no space for you to put away the laptop etc.

So if seat recline is not really important to you, a non-exit row seat is better if you intend to work.

You can't sit in exit row. They will move you a different seat. You have find a different seat. If you fly in premium economy class or business class.

Why would they move the OP to a different seat? I saw nothing that would indicate they would not be able to sit in an exit row (if that's where he/she wants to sit) We still don't know what airline and class they're sitting in.

How did you come to that conclusion?
