How to retrieve old ticket (corrected spelling)?

Hi I want to find my travel ticket info back in 1995. I dont have confirmation number . If I call the airline are they able to give me that info from their archived records . I dont mind paying all fees

Even if they could, I suspect the airlines have better things to be doing right now...

And from the title typo, I was expecting the answer to be like Squad 51 performing a scene from EMERGENCY! circa 1972.

The airline most likely has the data. If you're a billionaire willing to spend whatever it takes to have it, I'm quite positive that you'll manage to get it. But then again, if you were a billionaire someone else would be doing the legwork and you would not be posting on FT. :)

(If the airline is European you may be able to use GDPR to your advantage.)

What did the air carrier say when you called?

No, they have better things to do. I don’t believe there is a requirement to keep these data for this long.

Back in 1995, most if not all airline tickets are in paper format. It is highly likely that these records might have already been destroyed.

However, there might be a chance that one of the GDS providers (if you booked via a travel agent) may have an archive of past date PNRs (all it would show is the ticket number and how much you paid etc and probably not the full ticket image). There is a chance that data might have already been purged.

The airline might even have an archive of either your PNR or DCS (passenger manifest) record if not already purged.

Are you using this as proof you were in a certain country during a certain time period? You might have better luck contacting the immigration department of whichever country as they may have your entry/exit records.
