The definition of "obsolete" is quite loose, and more information is better than less, so even if it's borderline obsolete, it is welcome here. Generally for an aircraft to be considered obsolete, it should be out of production, and also not in widespread use.

Airbus A300

  • Iran Air - Still has 8 of various varieties. Used on medium-haul routes
  • Mahan Air (Iran) - Used on Iranian domestic flights

Airbus A310
Antonov An-24 Antonov AN-140
  • Motor Sich Airlines (UA) (Ukraine) Flights with AN-140 are expected to resume on 15 sep 2020 on the OZH (Zaporizhiya, Ukraine) - MSQ (Minsk, Belorussia) route but may be moved/rescheduled at short notice depending on Covid-19 development.

Beechcraft 1900
  • Air Sunshine (USA) - Based in San Juan Luis Muńoz Marín International Airport, flies interisland flights
  • Buddha Air (Nepal)- various including Mount Everest sightseeing flights

  • Chartair (Australia)- regional milk run routes in NT/WA/SA

  • Aurigny Air (UK) - flights to the Channel Islands
  • Air Marshall Islands - interisland flights

  • Regional Express (REX) (Australia)- regional flights just about everywhere- QLD, WA, SA, NSW. Possibly others
  • Loganair (Scotland)- regional flights in Highlands and islands
  • Air Rarotonga (Cook Islands) - multiple destinations inc Tahiti (PPT)

Swearingen/Fairchild Metroliner
  • Denver Air Connection (USA) - DEN-AIA - One roundtrip flight daily (not possible for day trip), half of the seats have been removed to bring it down to 9 seats for EAS service.
  • Air Chathams (New Zealand) - Acccording to their website (Fairchild Metroliner), these are flown between Auckland (AKL) and Whakatane (WHK)
  • FlyTiwi (Australia)- regional routes in NT
  • Murin Air (Australia)- Darwin to Wadeye route (NT)
  • Sharp Aviation (Australia)- regional routes Vic/Tas/?NSW
  • Bearskin Airlines (Canada) - Bearskin (JV) still operates 23 Metroliners on flights around Ontario, primarily from their bases at Thunder Bay (YQT) and Sioux Lookout (YXL)
  • Skippers aviation (Australia)- regional routes in WA

Yakovlev Yak-40
Motor Sich Airways (Ukraine) - The YAK-40´s are used on scheduled services as a back-up only.
Regular schedule on all routes is operated by AN-24 except OZH-MSQ which is primarily AN-140 due to codeshare contract with Belavia (may only be replaced by other types when unavaillable due to maintenance)
Same applies to the AN-74TK (TK = convertible similar to Boeings B737"QC" versions ...). It is primarily used for cargo flights but occasionally operates on the passenger routes ...

Can also add Grumman Mallard (turbo mallard in this case)- paspaley’s core business is pearling but they run various aviation experiences from time to time, ranging from short joy flights to trans Australian safaris

Aerolineas Sosa in Honduras operates a couple of BAe146 and LET 410 aircraft.

Landing in TGU on a 146 was an interesting experience.

You can fly LET 410 in Croatia on PSO routes. They're still in production.

these are advertised as “flights” between the Isle of Wight and both Southend and Ryde on the south coast of England

I nipped out the office to snap this one during my lunch break. She is a beauty to see and hear.

An Air New Zealand ATR72-500 (NZ has re-fleeted with the -600 version). It's not quite as useful as from the picture you can see that they need plenty cargo space for supplies, and certainly not 68 seats - perhaps half of that. But there is nothing in the market that fits the bill and jets are too big for Chatham Islands airport just now, and way too big for the demand

No commerical passenger air operators in the EU currently operate the BAe-146/Avro RJ.
