I concur with this line of thinking … although there’s a small part of me that would explicitly say “no more airworthy examples remaining” (e.g., BAC 1-11, Convair 880/990, Caravelle) because there *might* be a way to finagle a hop on a private or corporate one; here in the SEA area I’ve seen a Grumman Goose and a Douglas A-26 in the past few months

yep, around the patch at HEF (Manassas VA, with my then-15-year-old son) in the Tin Goose was a fun trip … we also did an open-cockpit Waco UFP-7 biplane at BFI when he was 5 (yeah, I know, that’s not in the airliner category)

I don’t have my logbook at hand right now, but I’ll post the rest of my list shortly

Interestingly, the Dornier 228 is used in Nepal to remote airstrips like Lukla.

Not having stepped into an a/c for over 2 1/2 years, there are some reltively-new a/c that I fear I will never get to fly on. Namely, 777-200 (non ER), A340-500, A380, A340-200, 767-400, A318.

Does this count? For Father's Day a couple of year's ago, my spouse bought me an hour's instruction in a Stearman biplane

When I flew aboard a MD-90 in June 2016 (BOS-MSP), I knew it was likely the last time I would fly aboard a MD-90. I tried to breathe in the MD-90 cabin air deeply. It was the last time.

I fear that my last 747 flight has already happened. Maybe there's hope for a Lufthansa 747-8i or 747-400? The last two transatlantic trips on Lufthansa was an A340-600 (YVR-FRA) and an A330-300 (MUC-YVR). I sensed that the A340-600 would probably be the last time flying aboard an A340.

I have never flown aboard an A380. The chances are diminishing. Maybe British Airways, ANA, and Singapore are possibilities?
