How many miles have you flown in a week?

I just had a week where I flew more than I think I ever have.

I flew LAX-ORD-MIA-IAD-LAX-CDG-DXB-KBL.

I make that 16191 miles in a week.

I know some do RTWs in less than a week so although it felt like a lot, others do more.

What is the most you have flown in a week?

I think I did (PIT-JFK-DXB-BOM)-DEL-HYD-(BOM-DXB-JFK-PIT), where (xx) were continuous trips, in one week on one of my trips for work - 18,648. I usually stretched them out over 10-12 days.

My record was back in December 2017.

RDU - ORD - NRT - SYD (first stop) - SIN (second stop) - NRT // HND (decided to spend the night) - LAX - DFW - RDU

Was a work trip and spent ~ 28 hours in SYD and 28 hours in SIN (half day event in both) and then decided to spend the night in TYO on the way home instead of doing the straight shot (back when DL had SIN - NRT and could've continued on to the US). Left on a Sunday and got back on Saturday.

Clocked in at 26,746

A couple of months ago I did:

RDU - DTW - ICN - BKK (stop one, was there 16 hours) - SIN (3 nights) - ICN (1 night same as with TYO above) - MSP - RDU

Left on a Sunday and got back on a Saturday same as above though clocked in at a more reasonable: 20,384

i have done at least 28,000 miles within 7 calendar days. It's so much easier on 7+ hour long-haul flights in fully reclining seats than doing this kind of thing with shorter (and more) flights, but now I try to avoid such things and don't have to worry about ending up in such situation again.

Not that this was by choice, but JFK --> HKG --> JFK --> LAS --> LAX --> SFO --> JFK. So, about 20K miles? All within like 5 days, if I recall.

early Dec 2013, needed 15979 miles for DL PM ... not at the same level as some of you globetrotters, but not bad for domestic (and only burning one vacation day; worked around attending a Fri morning seminar in Seattle) -- left early afternoon Wed, returned on Sat redeye

DCA-JFK-LAX-SEA; SEA-LAX-OAK-LAX-SEA; SEA-LAX-SJC; SJC-LAX-SEA-JFK-DCA ...11440 BIS, 12667 accounting for 500-mile minimums; 19579 with applicable bonuses

JFK-FRA-SIN-CNX-DOH-ORD-LGA in exactly 7 days.
22,411miles according to GC Mapper

Surprised not see more 30k+ weeks here. I had basically 5 days on the ground at CNX on mine

I'd have to really go back in check, as I may have done a little better on a 2 night trip to Vietnam a few years ago.

However 2 weeks ago I put together this little gem:
PHL-LAX-PHL-DFW-NRT-ITM-NRT-DFW-MCO

One night trip for a 2 hour meeting in LA and then a mileage run to Osaka that turned into a trip back straight to a client site.

GCmap has it coming in at 20,520.

The rest of the following week was MCO-DTW-MDW-BNA-PHL so it was pretty tame.

The worst weeks for me tend to be coming home for a day or so from a personal international vacation, and having to slip right back into biz travel.

+1. I had one of those this year. Flew back SCL - ATL - RDU on a Friday night/Saturday and had to be in the UK for a meeting on Monday so had no choice but to continue on with RDU - JFK - LHR the same day (thankfully had about 7 between flights to go home, shower, switch from checked bag full of wine to carry-on, etc.)

Back in 2017 I did IAD-DOH-BLR-PNQ-BLR-AUH-IAD (~18,494 miles) in a week. Maximizing family obligations while trying to take minimal vacation time.

I thought my longest was going to be a JFK-NRT-FRA-DUB-LHR-IAD-JFK RTW that I did in about 5 days. That is about 17,400. But on checking a JFK-LAX-MEL-HBA round trip that I did in less than a week is the longest at about 21,500. Second is an LGA-ORD-HKG-SIN round trip that I did with about 30 hours on the ground in SIN which is a shade over 20,000.

I have sometimes flown over 40k miles in a week.

One example was written up
