I guess that counts as simultaneously "least east and least west you've ever been."

IIRC, Quito and Entebbe are the two reasonably-sized cities you'd need to visit if you wanted do to the same thing at the equator, although I don't know whether either have a designated touristy photo-op spot for it.
someone upthread posted a pic from near the park in the mountains above UIO ... last Oct, our Galapagos tour started with a couple days in Quito; we arrived ~24 hours before the official meetup, and decided to take a hop-on/hop-off bus tour the following day ... at the ticket kiosk we discovered we had missed the once-daily trip to the Equator park by less than half an hour

Counting only places that are actual destinations one can walk around on land...
Fairly mundane as they go, but:

N: Oulu, 65.0121 N
S: Hong Kong, 22.3193 N
E: Taipei, 121.5654 E
W: Los Angeles, 118.2437 W

Shocking to me that I've not been even close to south of the equator still - needs rectifying soon!

Some of these were going around, "the other way," using the continental US as my center point--

North: about Anchorage, Alaska (drove up to Talkeetna to see Mt. McKinley/Denali) 62.3209 N
South: Port Arthur, Tasmania in Australia, 43.1775 S
East: Shanghai, China (done as AUS-LHR-PVG), 121.4737 E
West: Colombo, Sri Lanka (done as ORD-HKG-CMB) 79.8612 E

My flight memory looks like I've actually been around the world, but I haven't done that, yet.
