Quick question on hidden city ticket
Just wanted to ask on a hidden city ticket particularly delta. If i buy a one way ticket that goes thru DTW, to my final destination, can i join in from DTW after missing first leg? Or will they auto cancel all after missing first flight? Any help is appreciated

Yes, they will auto cancel if you no-show the first leg.

yup, hidden-city ticketing only works if you're going to miss the last segment(s).
Some will argue that you shouldn't even attempt that (see recent lawsuit by LFT), although I think the risks are minimal esp if you're able to cover yourself with feasible explanation in the off-chance they come after you. |

Simple answer is that if you no show for any segment, the remainder of your ticket will be cancelled. Whether it retains any value is a matter of the fare rules for your ticket. Likely $0.
Don't let people her sidetrack you with what happened with another carrier in another country and in a different situation. |

The question has been answered, and furthermore I was just explaining hidden city ticketing. No one is trying to sidetrack him/her. |
Ever got caught skip-lagging?
Have you ever been caught booking hidden city tickets? How often did you do it and what were the consequences?
