What is going on in Frederick, MD? Three DC-3s en route today
Just curious if there is an air show or something in the area. Right now there are three DC-3s en route (N103NA, N47SJ, and N74589).
FWIW everyday I look up DC-3s hoping I see one en route to a local airport. Usually my search shows random flights in the Arctic or missionary flights in the Caribbean.

If you want to see a bunch of DC-3's all in one place, attend Oshkosh. Think we had around 20 of them at the show 2 years ago. A friend used to use the DC-3 for cargo around the islands (HNL based). Dad was commuting back and forth each day between OGG and HNL, so when it worked he would fly right seat on the DC-3. This was 2008-2010.

These planes are doing a flyover at Arlington National Cemetery at noon today.

UPDATE: I went down to Arlington and saw the flyover. Very cool.
