You have far too much time on your hands. Go volunteer at a homeless shelter and so some good and quite the entitled ranting about something that really doesn't matter.

This is not one of the advertised privileges of flying F or J. No airline includes this privilege in the price you are paying.

I will use whatever lav is convenient for me. If there is signage or instructions from crew members saying otherwise, of course I will obey. But other than that, it's none of anyone else's business.
There are lots of things I get that are not advertised in the price I am paying. Is it listed that there is a better flight attendant .to passenger ratio in the premium cabin?

An airline cabin is not socialism. A business passenger paid a substantially higher price in return for better food, nicer seat, more room and not having to wait in a lengthy line for a toilet. Standing in line is reserved for the teeming masses in the rearward cabin. If they are noticed coming forward the FAs should be informed and if they do not address the problem their lack of action should be reported to their superiors.

Toilet skankiness not people skankiness. The more people that use a toilet the worse it becomes. The state of economy toilets is terrible as so many people use the toilets. I once saw a turd on a floor once. Eew.

As a pilot, I have had first class passengers complain to me after a flight about paxs in the back using the bathroom upfront. One lady was so obnoxious about it, she even suggested the pilots should not use "her" bathroom up front. I told her she should travel by private jet if this was such a concern for her. Personally, if you have to go, you have to go. Not allowing someone from coach to use an unoccupied bathroom in first class is simply inhumane. Especially if the bathrooms in the back are all occupied.

The passengers in back chose "inhumane" in return for a lower price. Let them live with it. Business class passengers paid a hefty premium so that toilet will be empty when they need it.

Oh come on, bitterproffit. The curtain is more than that. I know this because I once saw it on the old Justice League cartoons ABC used to play on Saturday mornings. I think it was the Wonder Twins who had a special threadbare curtain that acted as a force field to repel the evil heathens and keep them from mixing with the sybarites.

I’m just struggling to understand the degree to which some seem so outraged over this issue - I genuinely don’t get it. Mildly annoyed, sure. But the passion and anger present in this thread - WOW.

If a coach passenger using the F lavatory is the worst thing that happens in your day - then that sounds like an overall good day to me.

The real crime. Society truly should dedicate more resources to stopping this heinous act of walking.

Turdspotters. The real victims in this fiasco.

I believe that those in steerage will actively work to block you from using a lav outside of your booked cabin.

Well, you are an ..., but at least your funny.

Safe travels, if you end up on a United flight, message me and stop by the flight deck, I'll make sure one of the FA's gets you a disposable diaper, in case one of the great unwashed from coach dare sully the first class bathroom.

LOL @ the pathetic vitriol on this post. Did we touch a nerve little guy? Who cares about having to wait to use the bathroom? Presumably the people who are in F and should have expedited access to that lav. If waiting slightly longer is NBD then what exactly is the rationale for the Y pax coming forward and not using their lav in the back again?
