Most refined service

I am interested to hear your thoughts on this!

Where in the world can you find the most refined (not necessarily 'luxurious') service?
  • In the premier class of Airline X?
  • In the premier suite of Hotel Y?
  • In the dining room of a Michelin-starred restaurant?
  • In a private home with trained butlers? (Only possible if the serving staff truly understands you?)
What are the unmistakable hallmarks?

refined is relative to style, have to define style first

even if for example "cultured" - which culture

"royal palace" - in which country

and are we talking appearance without effectiveness

This is very subjective - what is 'refined' to you might be stuffy to me. I have friends who have staff, and for the most part they are friendly, cheerful, and good at their jobs, but others may find them overly familiar, they don't typically wear formal suits, nor do they genuflect. The word refined doesn't have a clear meaning, I prefer service to be thoughtful, and that can happen in any setting (for example, a mid level hotel in India where noticing me absent from dinner, they sent up hot tea, lemon, honey and a home made remedy.
