My sister did DEN-ORD-HKG-DPS-TIM and then a helicopter to our village and then we turned around 20 hours later due to my mom passing away.

I frequently fly US West coast to Taipei, Hong Kong, or Singapore for 2 nights. Purpose of the trips are whiskey, dim sum, beef noodle soup, and keeping my sanity.

YYZ-LHR in one day. Early evening fight to London, arrived in the morning, attended a meeting, flew home at 6pm that same day. It was a very long day.

Not as crazy as many here, but an interesting illustration of how FF programs have changed: in late 2000 Continental Airlines sent me an e-mail offering reward travel on their new EWR-GIG (Rio) for 17,500 OnePass miles per person RT. (That was half the usual number of miles.) BF and I flew down Thursday night and home Monday night, both overnights. Our brains were thoroughly trashed, but well worth it.

We also did a 4-day weekend from EWR to EDI for an exhibition of things from Nicholas and Alexandra at the Royal Museum of Scotland.

Not very far. MIA - ORD for moms birthday a couple months ago. Took her to an early dinner at Gibson’s and flew right out. I was on the ground like 5 hours.

MR’ and business trips, that we’re longer flights but same hours but that was the only non business one that short

I flew DFW-PVG last year for 2 nights, but I was in business class so to me it's really nothing crazy since I was in J. The real medal and thumbs up go to those who have done the ULH's in COACH ^

Those in J like me should just not be included.

Back when my family lived in Maui, I would often fly DEN-OGG for dinner and return on the redeye. Think I did about 15 of these over the course of 2 years. Of course Upgrades were much easier then which made it a little easier. That was just a few hours on the ground, but it meant a lot to them.

CHS-IAH-SFO-TPE-SFO-IAH-CHS

TPE landed at 8pm, car picks me up and we go to the port. I work all night and if all goes well, I am on the same plane (I usually try to get the same seat) back at 11:30 the next morning to SFO.

Back in my pre-EQD mileage running days it was the usual LAX-ORD-NRT-CGK-NRT-ORD-LAX journey, with about 6 hours on the ground in Jakarta.
