Lunar Eclipse Advice
Hey everybody, I’m flying LGA-YYZ-YEG tonight and I think the super blood moon will happen during the latter flight. It’s killing me that all my Googling for maps where we can spot the moon all say that “North America will be able to see the blood moon no matter what with clear skies”. There’s not much info on which side of the plane I should be on to see the moon at all! Does anyone have any insight on how I can figure this out? I want to get my seat selection done as fast as I can. Just choose an F seat for now for both flights so I can get cool shots of NYC and YYZ assuming they take the right paths! Fingers crossed! AC 175 departs at 20:55 EST if that helps! Thanks for all your help! |

here is a global map showing eclipse visibility (assuming local weather cooperates):
