Without any further info, if it is a Boeing or Airbus narrow body, probably go with the bulkhead middle.

Maybe a shorter Airbus like a 319 would be OK in the back. Do you need to get up to pee a lot?

how full is F? pax in the front will probably be more likely to get UGs, which means you could possibly snag a window or aisle at the UG window(s)

OP, strictly based on your minimum information, I'd go for the window seat at the back.

I'd take almost any window over almost any middle. Unless worried about a connection, I'd take the window in the back.

Bulkhead seats are often narrower with tray tables in the armrests and don't always have a big legroom advantage. I've grown to *not* like bulkheads, unless it's a type/airline where I know the footspace is fully open. (AS E-175 seat 6B, for example.)

The point about upgrading is a good one though: take your window in the back, but keep watching the seatmap around the times that elite upgrades are processing. And then check it every couple hours in the day leading up to your flight.

Window in the back. Too great a risk being next to a parent with a lap kid or an infant in bassinet in a bulkhead seat.

Window in the back, easily. It's not the last row, so row isn't really that important. A window to be able to lean against on a 5-6 hour flight is very beneficial. Deplaning 5 minutes later is a small cost for a more comfortable flight.

Yes, talk to the staff at the desk, and maybe hang around near the desk as upgrades are processed.

Window in the back. Don't forget that people traveling with animals often are in the bulkhead seats. You might find yourself sharing space with Lassie.

The lesser of two evils is the window seat in the back, IMHO.
