Depending on the FA, that may be an excellent position.

#1 : Uneventful and boring flight is the best!

After a few years of traveling a lot for work, anything that doesn't stand out either way is really great. Some positive surprise (upgrade or amazing view from plane window) can be fun, but generally an boring uneventful flight that arrives about on time is just so good and peaceful.

#2 : Flying is really amazing! Did I say amazing enough?

I always seem to forget this, but then get back to it. It is amazing how easily and at reasonable cost we can fly around the world these days, and experience interesting places. After getting annoyed by some #FT pet peeve or #firstworldproblem , after a while I get back to this and feel better again.

The Travel Gods

"When you arrive at the airport you place yourself in the hands of the travel gods. You may end up anywhere, arriving at any time; go with the flow. You're not in control. Make the best of it."

TV and movies look pretty much the same in yur living room and at 34,000 feet. The view outside your Living Room and Airplane's windows look much, much more different.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses
Hit it!

That's my travel motto in general

1) Act like you've been there before. (No DYKWIA!)
2) If you are standing in a long line at the airport, you are doing it wrong. Find out how to be in the short line next time, and go do that ASAP. (PreCheck/GE/NEXUS, airline club membership, status)

Be prepared and know your options. No one has the time to babysit you.

When my flight is delayed due to weather or mechanical reasons, my motto is “I’d rather be on the ground wishing I was in the air than be in the air wishing I was on the ground”
