I don't believe so. I have been looking for one for 20 years.

Certainly no major international carrier.

There's this list but who knows how accurate it is now. (Original website has apparently been down for quite a while.)

That list is ancient. Swiss Air, SABENA, Air UK, Ansett, Mexicana, Canadian Airlines, JAT, Malev, Varig, Lauda.... not to mention the myriad of U.S. carriers that have since merged). I'd put early 2000s as when that list was compiled.

Many charter jets will, typically for an additional fee.

Airlines, it seems not.

I can't think of any that let PASSENGERS smoke...flight crews on the other hand...

No...thank goodness...... (and I'm an ex smoker!)

I heard one story from a customer. In the early 2000s he was flying LH First Class to Tokyo. He was really anxious, because he couldn´t smoke for 12 hours and asked the Purser for nicotine patches. Instead of those the Purser brought an ashtray provided by the Captain. He was alone in First Class that day, so I guess he was very lucky that the Captain was a smoker too :)

I've heard some gulf countries flying within country will, not sure if it's just a rumor

China Eastern! :D (Well according to a lot of various reports out there, the flight deck smells like smoke!)

Old Aeroflot planes certainly smell like they do!

My first flight to US from Moscow in 1998 on IL-86 they allowed smoking in cabin until plane reached US airspace.

1998 is a long time ago. Aeroflot has not permitted smoking for many years, and on domestic Russian flights it was not allowed even in the 1990s. Interestingly, even in the 1980s there was no smoking allowed on Soviet trains, either—you had to stand outside, in between the cars, to smoke. Not much fun in wintertime!

The last flight I was on that allowed smoking was EgyptAir in, I believe, 2001. I’ve flown them many times since and there’s no smoking on their flights anymore either.

The last time I remember smoking on a plane was Air Lanka in about 1992 as a ca. 14yo UM!

Just the other day I watched an airline documentary and this airline still sells smoking tickets
