Route to GOI (Goa)
 

I need to fly from the UK, preferably MAN, to GOI in early November. Direct routes haven't opened for the season on my dates so I will need to take a connecting flight. That's fine, but I want to avoid a domestic connection within India (e.g. BOM, DEL) as I have a 5/5 record for losing luggage and/or missing a connection that way.

The only two options I've found are MAN-DOH-GOI with Qatar Airways and MAN-MCT-GOI with Oman Air.

Any advice on which airline is better? I will be flying in Y.

What about connecting in DOH or MCT?

There also appears to be a DXB-GOI flight on Air India, not that it would ever be my first choice. Like, ever.

I'd probably go QR, although I have no experience with Oman Air.
